Your full time housekeeper will cook and serve your meals, snacks and drinks and then whisk away the dirty dishes. She will keep the villa tidy and tend to your laundry. All you do is RELAX. When there are 5 or more guests, we provide a 2nd maid to ensure that guests are well taken care. Female guests often cry when the vacation is over because the maid(s) must stay behind.
Our houseman keeps the pool, gardens and villa in pristine condition. He owns a large van to provide airport transfers and provides other optional services such as food shopping and running errands. Our full time manager is available 24/7 for any issues that may come up.
Those looking for more adventure will not be disappointed: endless activities abound. A short walk from the villa you will find Ocean World Dolphin Park, Marina & Casino where you can swim with dolphins and snorkel alongside tropical fish. Enjoy drinks and dinner overlooking the ocean, or try your luck at the tables & slots and watch Las Vegas style shows. Or take a day trip to Sosua, a bustling Latin village known for its fabulous beach, a small sheltered cove perfect for snorkeling. Travel a little bit further to Cabarete known as the Wind Sport Capital of the Caribbean where you will find abundant wind-surfing and kite-boarding.
Golfers will not be disappointed. Choose from a 9 holes par 35 course at Los Mangos in Costamber, a community abutting Playa Cofresi. Or travel about 6 miles to a Robert Trent 18 hole par 72 course at Playa Dorado.
The golf course measures 6,700 yards for men and 5,400 yards for women. It is kept in good condition and while it is wide open, there are enough water holes and doglegs to keep it interesting.
For organized activities and adventures talk to the local tour director about. You can go on a horseback ride into the mountains, a jeep safari to amazing waterfalls, a catamaran snorkeling trip along the ocean. Our vacation villa is located is on the North Coast of the Dominican Republic, noted for having some of the prettiest beaches in the Caribbean. Our beautiful ocean beach is crescent shaped, stretches 3/4 of a mile and is lined with tropical trees offering you sun or shade. The cove is protected by a reef so there are no worries about rip tides, undertows or jelly fish. The surf is gentle with enough rolling waves to appeal to the swimmers and body surfers. Cool ocean breezes provide year round comfort.
Playa Cofresi is a wonderful destination for any size group because there is so much to see and do, and everything is so inexpensive. Wonderful meals at local restaurants start as low as $10-15 per entree. The Dominican version of Cheers is just down the street at an oceanfront thatched-roof restaurant called Chris & Madys. Babysitters for children cost about $30 for a full day. Several other restaurants are nearby offering everything from delicious local cuisine to kid friendly burgers and pizza.
