Our exquisite 3 year old home located in South Lake Tahoe has almost 360 degree mountain views and a near wrap around porch with a built in gazebo. Enjoy the hot tub to soak in while watching shooting stars. It is appointed with hardwood floors, slate floors and carpet. The counter tops are all granite throughout and the island in the kitchen is huge! There are 6 bar stools at the breakfast bar and the kitchen has a double oven and a five burner gas stove. The attached garage allows you to keep your car out of the snow and is large enough to fit an SUV. The great room downstairs and the entire upstairs has huge arched ceilings, 20+ feet high. This allows you to view the breathtaking mountain views from all windows. The dining area is nestled against the expansive windows so you can see the outstanding views while you dine by candle light at the fruit-wood table with eight leather chairs. We also have a large indoor laundry room with sink and granite counter for your convenience.
Our home feels like a comfortable lodge designed for rest and relaxation. There are 4 bedrooms and 2. 5 bathrooms and is located in a quiet neighborhood, yet close enough to the Lake, the ski resorts and the casinos. The vaulted ceilings are 20+ feet high and the windows are expansive throughout the house including five sliding glass doors for maximum mountain views. It is appointed with beautiful hardwood floors, slate floors, carpet, granite counter tops and a dream kitchen which includes all GE Profile appliances. It was designed for our large family to enjoy, the family room upstairs allows the kids to have their own hang out. We have furnished our home with comfortable furniture and 3 flat screen TVs with DVDs. There is also an over sized two car garage.
The master bedroom is very large and is situated downstairs. It has a king size bed, a couch that converts to a bed and an electric fireplace. There is access to the decks from the master bedroom and you can sit in the bay window and just gaze out to the beautiful views. Or, you could snuggle up in the large bed and watch some movies on the flat screen TV and DVD player. The other 3 bedrooms are upstairs and each room is furnished with a queen size bed. Two bedrooms upstairs have their own deck, and the ceilings are very high with expansive windows and views, perfect for gazing at the stars while you doze off to sleep. There is a queen sofa bed in the Master bedroom and a queen air mattress and a flip out bed, similar to a futon and suitable for a child.
The master bathroom is beautiful and luxurious. It has a Jacuzzi bath to soak in after a fun-filled day of skiing. There is a large separate shower with a seating bench and there is a double sink. All bathrooms are appointed with Travertine floors, wall and shower and granite counter tops. The upstairs bathroom has a shower/tub and double sinks. The half bath located downstairs is appointed with an old fashioned vanity and granite counter top.
There is a wonderful upstairs family room/game room with a huge deck to the outside. The floor to ceiling windows boast of tremendous views but the kids love it because of the game table, flat screen TV and built in DVD player and many games. The kids could also bring their game consoles for added fun. The great room is warm and inviting with the gas fireplace. Did I mention their are more then 200 DVD's in our Movie Library? The great room has beautiful hardwood floors and slate entry ways. There are expansive windows and two sliding glass doors to access the near wrap around porch. There are also two dormers with electric windows that can be opened for summer ventilation.
The kitchen is built for the gourmet cook. It is appointed with beautifully rich maple cabinets and all GE Profile appliances including a double oven. You will find the kitchen to be fully stocked for all kinds of cooking. The huge granite island also has a breakfast bar with six bar stools so that the guest can sit and chat with the cook.
This is our family home and we truly love spending time here and creating long lasting memories. We play in the snow, make snow men, sled, ski and snowboard. It is a great home for the summer too. We enjoy our time at Pope Beach or Camp Richardson or we might just go down the street to Fallen Leaf Lake. We hang out on the beach, build sand castles, or we may do some boating or fishing or crawdad collecting or perhaps some mountain bike riding on the awesome trails! In the evening, we usually BBQ and hang out in the gazebo, enjoying the wild life as we take in the mountain air or watch the kids play a fierce game of ping pong. We always have a great time and have many memories to reflect on. It is our desire for our guest to also enjoy it and make wonderful memories too.
