Our Mauna Lani home is ideal for families with children. There is plenty of space and beds for up to 6 people, but more importantly, we picked the location and resort that caters best to kids – real kids and the young at heart! There are numerous small, quiet beaches sheltered from the wind between the Mauna Lani beaches and the Fairmont Orchid Beaches. Towels, Food, and Drinks as well as rest rooms and fresh water showers are available at the beaches and make your time in the sun, sand and surf more enjoyable. If you want to pack your own goodies to the beach we have multiple sizes of coolers and you’re welcome to take these to the beach and poolside. The variety of small bays and open water allow for variety for all ages. Some of the beaches are well protected from any kind of surf and are excellent for even small toddlers and babies. Other spots along the resort’s oceanfront offer boogie boarding waves and excellent snorkeling.
Eat dinner with your feet in the sand while your children watch the turtle’s sun themselves on the beach nearby or let the kiddos run and play in the palm tree grove while you sit, relax, and enjoy an appetizer. Kids are welcome and it’s an elegant yet relaxed atmosphere that’s only a short walk from your Fairway Villa at the Mauna Lani Resort.
The service is impeccable at the Fairmont Orchid and Mauna Lani and one always feels like a cherished friend.
Our villa is only a few steps from the pool... Close enough it is an easy walk... Yet enough distance to be beyond the pool noise. Just step out onto the lanai and head down the short path through the gardens and you're at the gated pool.
